Our journey started in a rather unexpected way—we simply didn’t know what to do with ourselves during the hot summer days. Too lazy for anything else, we thought, why not start our own company, Golden Pearl? Just kidding…

I’m Marin, and together with my cousin Kristian, we started this adventure a long time ago as a summer side job. We had some extra time, and earning a little extra money while doing something we love seemed like the perfect choice.

We come from Solin, an ancient Roman city, and we’re incredibly proud of our Croatian heritage. With deep knowledge of our country’s history, culture, and hidden gems, we love sharing stories and insights with our guests. While we’re based in Trogir, our service extends across many locations in Croatia, offering unforgettable experiences along the way.

Two years ago, Kristian and I took a leap of faith and started our own company. Before that, we worked for other taxi services, but we soon realized that sticking together and building something of our own was the right move. We knew we could offer more than just a ride—we could create a service built on trust, passion, and genuine hospitality. What started with just the two of us has now grown into a team of trusted colleagues and friends who ensure every journey is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Over the years, thousands of happy guests have stepped out of our vans with smiles on their faces. Their positive reviews inspire us every day to take our service to the next level. A good review is always a sign that we’re on the right path!

Here’s something you might not know about us—both Kristian and I have backgrounds in engineering. Kristian holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering, while I have a degree in traffic engineering. So, while we’re always happy to chat about Croatia and football like many taxi drivers do, we can also dive into a range of other topics during your ride.
